Hello there.
Thanks for dropping in! My name is Erin. I’m a lover of thunderstorms, velvet, coffee, romcoms, ghosts, cats, & everything to do with art & fashion. If you’re familiar with my work, you’ll recognize many of these themes! All of my pieces are completely original— I draw each illustration, create my embroidery patterns, & comprise every piece with hundreds of thoughtful hand stitches. While embroidery is my main medium, I also love incorporating mixed media techniques like watercolor, botanical dyeing, felting, & beading into my work.
I have my BFA in accessory design with a minor in fiber arts from Savannah College of Art & Design. During school, I learned to handcraft shoes, handbags, & small leather goods; & I studied dyeing techniques, loom weaving, surface embellishment, & pattern design. Funnily enough, I didn’t take any embroidery courses in college—I started experimenting with this medium on my own after graduating & immediately was hooked. Now, I spend most of my time using threads, while my darling cat Quasi sits on my lap, trying to fight them. (You can also find me embroidering on my porch rocking chair with neighborhood cats flocking to my side.)
My embroidery style melds vintage fashion, soft & muted color schemes, floral patterns, & themes of love & femininity. I create fine art thread illustrations, hand embroidered jewelry & accessories, and sell printed imagery of my designs in the form of fine art prints, stickers, pins, and canvas tote bags. I also offer custom work—including embroidered bridal accessories. Please contact me with any commission requests or inquiries. I’d be honored to work with you & bring your vision to life!
